    Our Locations for CFBNJ

Today, CFBNJ is the largest anti-hunger organization in the state, leading the way by treating hunger as a public health issue.

    New Jersey’s Largest FoodBank

CFBNJ serves Atlantic, Bergen, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, and Union Counties. We distribute food from our warehouses in Hillside and Egg Harbor Township to over 800 food pantries and soup kitchens in New Jersey. Our locations work as a team, but the hours and service differ slightly, so please take a look at the following information to learn more about our hours, services, and contact information.

    Our Hillside Location

Our Hillside warehouse is our largest location where we regularly welcome food bank volunteers, students, and staff. During office hours, our Resource Access Team is available to phone screen NJ residents for SNAP benefit (formerly food stamps) eligibility and talk to clients about other assistance programs available to them.

We are located right off Route 22, easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway or the New Jersey Turnpike. If you take NJ Transit to get to CFBNJ, the #59, #65, and #66 NJ Transit bus routes all have stops near our warehouse.

    Our Garfield Unity Pantry Location

The Garfield Unity Pantry offers both wholesome, nutritious food as well as informational resources that will promote improved health. CFBNJ’s goal is a fully-nourished Garfield.

To accomplish this, CFBNJ has built a “client-choice” model community food pantry that brings dignity and trust to our neighbors in need. In collaboration with other partners, CFBNJ seeks to gather community resources that promote affordable access to healthy foods and nutrition education while growing a network of programs to improve the health and well-being of all residents. We will assist neighbors with securing SNAP benefits to make healthy foods easier to obtain; these are just a few examples of how we address hunger as a health issue.
